ROMEX® donates to the primary school in Merl

Image

In the course of the schoolyard design/theatre project, ROMEX® supports the community primary school in Meckenheim-Merl in the realisation of current projects. On the one hand, this is a schoolyard design suitable for pupils, on the other hand a theatre project on the topic of self-assertion.

Certain projects are only possible with the support that goes beyond the state budget for schools. Since education is a very important aspect of everyone, ROMEX® is of course happy to help implement the projects and donates 1.000,00 € to the Support Association of the Municipal Community Primary School Meckenheim-Merl e.V..

This year, a special award was given by the VCI NRW for medium-sized businesses. Awarded was the project

"Pavement jointing mortar made from environmentally friendly raw materials and recycled packaging",

submitted by ROMEX® GmbH.

This year, the Special Prize of Medium-sized Businesses goes to ROMEX® GmbH. The core of the project is a grout with a new binder based on renewable raw materials. In addition, the main ingredient sand was replaced by recycled products. The previous packaging was replaced by recycled plastics from household or commercial waste, and the energy required for production is generated using solar power. Here, a medium-sized company from the construction chemicals sector shows how sustainability can be viewed holistically and implemented in an exemplary manner.

No more delays on construction sites due to sub-zero temperatures

Laying companies on construction sites know this all too well: When winter arrives, delays will almost certainly occur. The temperatures are to blame. Certain materials can then simply no longer be processed - conventional mortar, for example, often needs at least + 7° to harden/cure. Construction site delays are not only nerve-wracking, they are also always associated with costs: downtimes and on-time completion lead to payment delays and even loss of orders. "In order to prevent all of this in the future, we have developed the new ROMPOX® - W1000", says Bert Meurer, managing director of ROMEX® GmbH. "With this world first, construction sites can now be completed even in the cold season." This is not only good for the builders, but also for the laying companies and their employees: "Companies can now also be busy in the winter months, delays can be counteracted in this way, ”says Meurer.

Goodbye lost work!

  • Application temperature down to -5 ° C
  • Project completion on time
  • No loss of work or payment
  • Higher occupancy in winter
  • Correction of the appointment calendar
