Storage and handling of resin based products during the cold season
The liquid components need to be stored frostfree. This includes the single bottle containers as well as the buckets that have resine/hardener components inside them. Filler material bags should be stored dryly.
Furthermore we recommend the following precautions:

The liquid components need to be stored frostfree. This includes the single bottle containers as well as the buckets that have resine/hardener components inside them. Filler material bags should be stored dryly.
Furthermore we recommend the following precautions:
- Cold material (due to storage or transport) must be brought up to ambient temperature before application.
- The required minimum values according to the technical specifications, regarding air (temperature), surface and air humidity, need to be adhered to. When working with synthetic resin paving joint mortars, then the recommended ground temperature from the product information should be heeded.
- In general the material should not only be stored frostfree, but also be transported frostfree, especially for self-collection clients, and depending on delivery area and temperature conditions, the transport company should use thermotransport (+6°C) if possible.
- Using blow heaters during application of our floor coatings is not recommended. The airstream disturbs the hardening process and produces a lot of dust/dirt. Due to increased air movement, the water loss of watery products is dramatically shortened, which has a negative effect on hardening.
- Last but not least we recommend ordering materials on time to ensure punctual delivery. In case of severe weather conditions such as frost and snow, hazardous materials transport is sometimes forbidden, meaning delays in delivery through no fault of our own.
